Performance Management for People Managers

About the course

Often the term Performance Management is used to refer to the formal ‘process’  – the forms that need to be completed and having the required meetings. But effective managers are continually engaged in informal performance management activities.

On this programme we explore four key principles of performance management. Using best practice tools and techniques, managers can support each individual to bring their performance to the next level. We show managers how to prevent and address underperformance and confidently engage in any type of performance dialogue.

Duration: 2 Days

This course is designed for:

  • Individuals who are moving into management roles
  • Newly appointed people managers
  • Experienced people managers who want to develop their performance management skills

What will I get from the programme?

  • Identify the key behaviours required for effective performance management.

  • Factor in individual personality preferences in their approach to performance management
